All Alone Again

I am at work and, as always, I'm all by myself. It gets kind of lonesome like this. there is nobody to talk to. I usually sit here and play solitaire all day long. It is so boring. One the bright side though, how many people get paid to play games all day? It is the first job I've had where I get to do it. I have had a variety of jobs in my life too. Anyway, my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 3. She is 9 now and they have her on Concerta to "control" her. We never wanted her on the stuff. Some friends suggested trying her on "sugar pills" to see if the behavior is only in her mind. We started that on Sunday 10/9/2005. She has been acting as if she were on her medicine all week. Maybe it is a mental predisposition, maybe it's not, but it does seem to be working. As long as she thinks she is on her meds, she is fine. I am so bored it is unreal. Calgon take me away.
